Description of Location:Site is the personal property of the Magby Family. There is plenty of space and very dark skies. This is an open field, no pavment.Special Rules (also see General Dark Sky Site Rules)

Instructions for Access:
- No electricity is available. You may bring a generator.
- "Le Messier" is on site (Porta-Potty). Otherwise, no restroom facilities.
- No alcohol consumption.
- Absolutely no litter (cows).
- Must respect neighbor's property line (not well marked).
- Must use NetSlyder to email at least one day ahead of time.

- The site is available at all times.
- The Magbys can be reached by sending an email out on NetSlyder that you intend to go to their dark site. There will be a few times throughout the year when they will have an activity going on and the site will not be available for astronomy.
Pros:
- From Humble, take Highway 59 North, to Cleveland. About 25 miles.
- In Cleveland, take the exit for FM 2025 West. This is the exit past Route 105, Turn left onto FM 2025, set your cars trip odometer, and go (north)west 5.4 miles.
- Turn left at the Valero gas station onto FM 945, reset your trip odometer, and go west 7.2 miles. You will go past a small Baptist Church on the right.
- Turn right onto Lilley Gilbert Road (dirt).
- Drive 0.6 miles on Lilley Gilbert (watch your odometer). Turn left, driving into an open field.
- If you see a large silver Quonset Hut-like barn on your left (in the daytime at least), you are there. Turn left through the trees that line the road, and park in the field. You will also see NHAC's large blue shipping container (8x8x20') that stores club property.
Cons:
- Dark. Almost no outside lighting.
- Easy reservations through NetSlyder with only one days warning.
- Easy access and ample room.
Maps:
- Personal private property.
- There will be some blackout dates.
- Cows (longhorns). We share the field with them. We don't bother them, they won't bother us.
- Trees on most horizons up to 15 degrees.
