NHAC maintains an inventory of loaner telescopes that are available for all members to check out and use. Most of the telescopes may be checked out and taken by the member to use at whatever location they deem appropriate.
Any member in good standing may check out and use the telescope as they wish at a NHAC Star Party. A member of the Observation Committee will help you with information and use of each telescope, and any restrictions on their use.
Members of at least 6 months may also take home a loaner telescope, at the discretion of the Loaner Scope Coordinator.
